The HOTWEEZERS®
Â
Meisei’s HOTWEEZERS® is a unique, lightweight hand instrument that is shaped like a pair of tweezers with an angled head. Depending on the model, the stripping blade of the HOTWEEZERS® has six different gauge holes ranging from AWG 36 to 18 to match the diameter of the wire or cable’s core metal conductor (or no holes, if a larger/different gauge is needed). HOTWEEZERS® rapidly achieve user-selected temperatures (up to 1,500° F) allowing the user to melt through wire casings and insulation without damaging the underlying conductor.

The Meisei Power Supply
The Meisei HOTWEEZERS® are powered by Meisei Power Supplies. The Power Supplies have a solid, compact design to minimize space on the workbench with adequate heft to remain stationary during use. The Power Supplies are custom designed and built inhouse by Meisei to ensure the precise specifications are maintained to optimize the performance of Meisei HOTWEEZERS® hand units.

PLEASE NOTE: Meisei Tools has released a new digital unit (the M-30) and new hand tools that supersede and replace this unit. While this unit, and the old hand tools are still currently being produced and sold, they will be discontinued in the future, in favor of the new Digital M-30 series unit. The new M-30 supports both ESD and Non-ESD operations (depending on the tool used). We do not have a timeline for any product discontinuation yet. Additionally, nothing is officially announced or discontinued yet. We just know that, at some point in the future, this will happen. You can use your old hand tools on the new M-30 unit with the adapters listed below. Note that these adapters are not included by default. Add the ones you need to your cart! Need help?
