This is an extremely easy-to-use connector for single-color LED strip light. Even if you're not a professional, you can easily handle it. It can be used as strip to strip connecting or re-joining cut strips.
For waterproof strip lights: You'll need to remove the protective coating first (be careful not to cut through the circuit board). Then open the connector and lock the strip under the plate.
For non-waterproof strips: just cut the strip as you need (only where you see a dotted line with a scissors symbol), then open the connector and lock the strip under the plate.
Everything finished in a few minutes without soldering. Make sure to match the positive(+) and negative(-) marks on both strips.
Please note: Vetco always reccomends soldering LED strips if you can, or have the time. Its a much more solid connection that will withstand vibration and moist air.
